Located in Aberdeen in Hong Kong’s Southern District, Yue Kwong Chuen has witnessed over half a century of transformation from a traditional fishing village to modern development, while its waterfront character and strong sense of neighbourhood continue to thrive. This illustration by Don Mak weaves into the artwork the names of Yue Kwong Chuen’s buildings: Hoy Au Lau, Ching Hoy Lau, Hoy Kong Lau, Pak Sha Lau and Shun Fung Lau.
